Sophora IPTC Add-on

The IPTC module provides a standardized and simple way to extract and store IPTC and EXIF meta data in a dynamic table in image documents. The meta data "hidden" in the image files thus becomes accessible to editors and development teams and also improves the search for images.

The IPTC module can also save a selection of IPTC meta data fields in JPGs. For writing IPTC meta data into JPGs the module Sophora Image Service is required. All supported fields are listed in the documentation.

Sophora IPTC Technology

In order to obtain individual document types and customer-specific solutions, the properties of the IPTC module are delivered as a mixin. This mixin can be added to the existing image node type.

The IPTC module includes a Sophora script for the meta data extraction.
